Advance warning: Don't watch (with video)

I made a mistake last weekend when I announced that Casualty had got good again.

I was wrong, terribly wrong, as this clip of tomorrow's episode should prove. .

I don't need to know that Guppy's still a virgin, I have no desire to see Nathan the Nasty NHS Manager trundle closer to a nervous breakdown, nor do I have any want to watch perhaps the ambulance department in the country which seems more ready to strike than the lot here on Merseyside.

Now I've got that off my chest, it's back to tonight's offerings - which save for Britain's Got Talent (ITV 1, 9pm) and Dalziel and Pascoe (also 9pm, BBC 1) appear to be pretty poor prior to 10.35pm.

That's when Jonathan Ross takes to the airwaves on BBC 1 with his talk show which is now surely so notorious that guests must know what to expect before they go on air.

Jonathan's guests include Hollywood heart throb Rob Lowe, Alex James and winner of this year's now infamous Celebrity Big Brother, Shilpa Shetty. Music comes from Brazilian band CSS.

Oh yes, and the BBC insists on mentioning that it contains 'adult humour'. Which doesn't even begin to cover it.
