It's the big thing now, isn't it? Something big breaks and the TV news stations send a presenter to the scene.
You normally end up with a presenter talking to a reporter at the scene and don't learn much more other than the fact it's important enough to have Jeremy Thompson/Fiona Bruce/Mark Austin at the scene.
But when something happens in the North West, you don't often see Gordon Burns at the scene, do you? There's a probably a reason for that - and I think I've found it
